DMZ beta vs early access
The MW4 open beta and DMZ Early Access are different events. A multiplayer beta code is not evidence of a separate DMZ beta entitlement.

What the open beta actually included
The official August 28–September 1 open beta listed Multiplayer, Ground War: Combat Outpost, Kill Block, the Entrenched Campaign mission and Zodiac Resurgence. DMZ was not in that published content list.
Which download or offer are you looking at?
Use the mode and event name, rather than the word “beta” alone, to identify an offer.
- August MW4 Open Beta: the published test event; its free access does not establish free access to DMZ.
- October DMZ Early Access: the separate access period for eligible digital purchases.
- MWII DMZ Beta: the older game, often discussed in the same subreddit and video search results.
Before redeeming a code
Read the platform, event dates and mode on the offer. An expired August code will not solve an October ownership problem. For DMZ, compare your purchased edition with the early-access eligibility page linked below. Do not buy a third-party code merely because its listing says “MW4 beta”.
