Your first deployment
A successful first run is one you can learn from. Give yourself a manageable objective, protect your supplies, and make returning to base part of the plan.

Understand the loop
MW4 DMZ combines scavenging, objectives and extraction in Hajin. AI and other players share the space. Your Forward Operating Base is the place to prepare between runs.
Before you deploy
Our suggested first-run routine keeps decisions simple. This is a planning checklist, not a mandatory mission sequence.

- Review your active Operator and the equipment you are taking.
- Read the current objective before selecting your deployment.
- Choose gear you can afford to lose; check the Free Loadout option if supplies are low.
- Agree on one goal with your squad and decide when you will leave.
During the run
Pause to check your route after each objective. A backpack full of useful supplies is a reason to consider extracting. Avoid turning every sound of gunfire into another fight; your chosen objective should drive your next move.
Back at base
Offload items you want to keep, review what your next objective needs, and rebuild your loadout. Write down what caused trouble on the previous run: navigation, equipment, communication, or staying too long. Change one thing before trying again.
A useful first-session goal
Try to complete one deliberate preparation–deployment–return cycle. There is no need to chase every upgrade at once. Understanding what you carried in and what you brought back gives you a better foundation for later missions.
