FIELD GUIDE /MISSIONS

Choose your next mission

Choose the kind of run you want before choosing the risks you are willing to take.

Three ways to approach a deployment

Story Missions advance the narrative. Dynamic Operations provide changing objectives. Free Roam leaves more room for exploration. These are deployment choices within DMZ.

Story Missions still share the zone

The official overview places Story Missions in live servers with other Operators. A narrative objective should not be mistaken for a private, PvE-only campaign instance.

Make the objective readable

Before moving, turn the current objective into a short plan in your own words. Check the in-game text for exact conditions; this page does not invent mission names or reward tables.

  1. What does the current objective actually ask you to do?
  2. Where does your squad need to go?
  3. What equipment would make the attempt practical?
  4. What will make you stop the attempt and leave?

Keep an objective log

After a run, note the specific step that remains incomplete. If an objective did not register, preserve its exact wording and the result you saw before trying again. That is more useful than assuming the entire mission must be repeated.
